Sunny's Cafe

This is right down the street from us. Loved everything about it, and our server Mia took good care of us. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had breakfast today. My wife had the chicken and waffles while I had the Sunny's omlete. Everything was good. Definitely will be regulars here.

Great food. Great service. I had chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and okra, and they all were very good. My mom had French toast and scrambled eggs, which she thought were amazing My brother had chicken fried chicken and he also thought it was very good. Shannon was also a great waitress and very thoughtful checking on us often.

First time here and the restaurant did not disappoint. Definitely lived up to the good reviews posted online. Where do I begin? They serve breakfast all day! That is a plus for sure. My husband had a Huge Club sandwich. Plenty of meat on it! Homemade fries. I had a veggie Omelette that was so good and the hash browns were nice and crispy. Great service, so friendly, was greeted as soon as I entered restaurant. Definitely will stop here next time I am in area

Excellent food and service. Chicken fried steak is real. I had the fried pork chops which were two giant ones. All country sides are great too. Owner Nader is a super nice man. Our waitress Ana has an amazing smile. Prices are affordable, around 12 bucks a large plate or so. So glad this place is open and eat here often. Breakfast is all day long here , get the pancakes when here.

Been wanting to try this place for months and wish we’d stopped in sooner! The service was great and the portion sizes generous for the price. Love that they serve breakfast all day! I got the mushroom omelette with hash browns and my boyfriend got the chicken fried steak with fried okra and mashed potatoes. It was all so good, I definitely recommend checking it out, we’ll be coming back again

Having moved to the DFW area from a small town, I was delighted to have found Sunny's Cafe! It has that warm and welcoming hometown diner feel to it! The owner and the waitress were both very friendly and kind! My partner and I both ordered the Chicken Fried Steak special- I opted for sides of green beans and mashed potatoes, and my partner opted for sides of green beans and the fried okra! Our waitress came back and apologized that they were out of green beans, so I instead got the pinto beans, and my partner got the side salad! They gave my partner the mashed potatoes anyway free of charge for the inconvenience of no green beans. The chicken fried steak was fantastic! It was steaming hot and served with plenty of gravy, which is just how I like it! The pinto beans had a really great flavor as well! They were a bit on the salty side in my opinion, but not overly so. I ate them all, they were delicious! My partner enjoyed his salad and fried okra! The salad is just your standard garden salad, but it was crispy and refreshing! The special also included coffee or tea, which was a nice touch! We also got an order of onion rings to share, and those were amazing! They were hot and crunchy without being overcooked! This place serves breakfast all day, and we're looking forward to coming back to try their breakfast plates!
